Job summary

Amazon Data Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Data Center Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will maintain and operate our data center infrastructure, including racks, servers and networking gear, ensuring uptime and safety. Responsibilities include hardware break-fix, rack installation, network troubleshooting, and on-call duties. You will help with change management, site documentation and process improvements while supporting 24x7 operations across

Qualifications

• Basic networking knowledge including fiber troubleshooting both theory and practice.
• Degree, diploma or technical certification in IT, computer engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure as part of Operations team.
• Install server racks, perform hardware break-fix and troubleshoot network issues.
• Respond to trouble tickets and meet SLAs; first line hardware support.
• Participate in on-call duties and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
