Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking an Automation Operation Support Center Engineer to serve as the first contact for technical assistance across phone, email, or in person at our Kulim, Kedah site in Malaysia.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT (Master preferred) with 2+ years’ experience and expertise in SQL, Python, C, C#, and PowerShell. Mandarin is a plus for China site support, and a strong customer service ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in IT or similar.
• SQL queries, Python, C, C#, and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge in AI and Machine Learning Development.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin is a plus for China site support.
• Ability to learn quickly, coach others, and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve process, software, and hardware issues in Intel's global factories.
• Follow up with customers and escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Provide front-line technical support on a 24x7 shift rotation (day and night).
• Document interactions clearly and contribute to knowledge management and best practices.
