Job summary

Intel Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer to help create and optimize software across multiple layers of the factory stack, ensuring seamless operation of Intel's production systems.

You will join Intel Foundry's Automation Operations group, providing support for global factories and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and reliable manufacturing operations in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required.
1+ year of experience in infrastructure and platform support.
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.
Foundational knowledge of operating system architecture, configuration, and networking.

Responsibilities

Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Platforms/Infrastructure.
Perform project work including automation process and/or product hardening.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations.
Document processes, tools, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
Support distributed enterprise systems spanning global factory operations.
Engage in continuous learning on industry trends and technologies.
