Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level IT Support Professional to deliver first-line IT support for ATIT users, monitor systems, and troubleshoot issues across manufacturing and engineering environments.

The role requires strong customer service skills, fluency in English, and willingness to work rotational 24x7 shifts. Candidates with MES and automation knowledge will have an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or under 2 years experience encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience or exposure to IT support in manufacturing/semiconductor environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of MES, automation platforms, engineering applications, or tester systems is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with global ATIT teams.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Willing to work on rotational 24x7 shift schedules.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Linux) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for ATIT users and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA.
• Monitor applications, infrastructure, alerts, and ticket queues to ensure service availability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to end-user computing, business apps, and manufacturing systems.
• Support manufacturing IT environments including MES, shopfloor systems, engineering apps, automation, and tester workstations.
• Collaborate with regional/global IT teams to investigate, escalate, and resolve complex issues.
• Deliver remote support across sites and countries with clear user communication.
• Contribute to knowledge management through documentation and best practices.
• Participate in 24x7 shift operations to ensure continuous IT service support.
