RTX in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to drive test strategies for electronic systems. You will analyze equipment, design and adapt test solutions, and ensure production efficiency while collaborating with global teams in English and Spanish.

The role may involve travel to the United States for strategic projects and requires hands-on testing, rigorous documentation, and continuous improvement of testing capabilities.

Formación

• University degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

What You Will Do:

• Analyzes equipment and conducts tests toestablishoperating data.

• Performs engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure that projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.

• Determinesmaterial and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.

• Develops or performs operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.

• Manage activities for the manufacture, installation, maintenance, operation, or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.

• Prepares,reviewsormaintainsmaintenance schedules, develop documentation, or operational reports and charts to ensure that progress and performance can be tracked.

• Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.

• Troubleshoots electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.

• Modifies, and evaluates electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in other equipment and devices.

• Design and fabricate test solutions

• Researches, develops, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

• Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.

• Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communicationsystemsand servomechanisms. Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.

• Works autonomously with limited supervision.

• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts,policiesand practices.

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with corporate leaders through in-person meetings, presentations, reports, and written correspondence.

• May berequiredto travel occasionally to the United States to support business needs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree in in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering

• and minimum 2years prior relevant experience

• Proficient Conversational and written Englishrequired

• Intermediate to advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel(e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting).

Qualifications We Preferred:

• Demonstrated experience in programming logic, withproficiencyin at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++,Labviewor MATLAB. Examples include creating automated test scripts, implementing logical algorithms, or debugging complex code.
