Jobtailor in Tijuana, Mexico seeks a Diesel/Gasoline Mechanic to support technicians in vehicle maintenance and repair. The role involves stamping, process flow communication, and implementing improvement proposals in a fast-paced workshop.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in a similar role and knowledge of Scania products, DOS/DCS/SRS/SHE standards. On-site position with standard workshop duties, tool and parts handling, and quality checks.

Formación

• One year in a similar position
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics
• Knowledge of Scania products and services
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards

Responsabilidades

• Assist technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair
• Ensure correct stamping of the work performed
• Communicate work completion to maintain process flow
• Implement improvement proposals as directed
• Check availability of tools and parts and retrieve from the warehouse
• Verify maintenance information is available
• Apply standard work methods to tasks
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles
• Manage deviations that arise during tasks
• Wash parts and components as required
• Initiate the work order and prepare the vehicle
• Search for information in the system as needed
• Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled
• Finalize stamping of completed work
• Clean the work area and return used tools
• Close the work order and document completion
• Inform workshop manager when assignments finish
• Communicate any deviations and propose solutions
• Follow up on established improvement plans
