Jobtailor is seeking a skilled diesel and gasoline mechanic to join our workshop in Mexico. The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, support technicians, and ensure proper documentation and workflow for each job.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, adherence to work methods, and following up on improvement plans. Prior experience with Scania products and standard compliance is required.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Diesel and/or gasoline engine mechanics.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services.
• Familiarity with DOS, DCS, SRS, and SHE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure customer satisfaction by performing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee proper stamping of the work performed.
• Communicate when the work is finished to ensure process flow.
• Implement improvement proposals as approved.
• Check availability of tools and parts required for tasks.
• Apply correct work methods during tasks.
• Perform visual inspections of vehicles.
• Manage any deviations that arise during service.
• Wash parts and components as needed.
• Inform workshop manager when assignment is completed.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

Requirements

• One year in a similar position
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics
• Knowledge of Scania products and services
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards
