North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. invites a Programming CNC Engineer to translate 3D designs into efficient CNC programs for wood cutting and related manufacturing processes. You will develop, validate, and optimize programs for routers and automated machinery to ensure on-floor success.

The role focuses on process improvement, waste reduction, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions and support new product introductions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong CNC programming experience in wood cutting environments.
• Experience with CNC routers and machining centers.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design modifications.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, blueprint reading, and CAD interpretation.
• Experience with Microvellum or similar woodworking software.
• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics, Oracle) for manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, program, and optimize CNC programs for wood cutting equipment and automated machinery.
• Convert 3D designs into production-ready CNC programs and validate performance on the floor.
• Create and adjust cutting, drilling, routing, and machining strategies for custom products.
• Support prototype development by adjusting programming for manufacturability.
• Improve material utilization and reduce waste through continuous improvement.
• Validate production output against design specs and BOMs.
• Support new product introductions and ensure smooth production integration.
• Provide technical support for CNC programming and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Operations to meet requirements.
