Stellantis is seeking an experienced automotive engineer to instrument and prepare vehicles for testing, ensuring proper setup of electronic devices and data connections. The role requires strong data analysis, cross-functional communication, and adherence to calibration schedules.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/mechatronics/electrical background, at least 5 years in the automotive field, and a valid driving license for Mexico or international license.

Formación

• Fluent English required.
• Minimum 5 years in the automotive industry.
• Minimum 5 years driving experience (cars and trucks).
• Valid license to drive vehicles in Mexico or international driving license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronic/Automotive Engineering.
• Capable of analyzing & synthesizing complex data.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
• Experience in engineering and managing people.

Responsabilidades

• Instrument and prepare vehicles/benchs for testing and driving testing vehicles according to procedures.
• Understand and manage vehicle behavior and understand how any change on this can affect the full behavior of the vehicle.
• Responsible to comply with maintenance and calibration schedules for dedicated equipment.
• Knowledger of acquisitions systems and databases.
• Responsible to get appropriate financial and other approvals as required.
• Certify that vehicle and paperwork is properly prepped to perform the required activities.
• Advises the product engineer on required changes related to vehicle components or vehicle performance.
• Report and follow up on problems found during testing.
• Preparation of vehicles and setup of electronic devices, such as computers and remote connections between car and electronic devices.
• Continuous improvement for efficiency and clear documentation of testing procedures.

Fluent English

5 years of driving experience

5 years of experience in automotive

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronic/Automotive Engineering
