Eaton Aerospace FED Pacifico in Mexico seeks an experienced Manufacturing Welding Engineer to lead welding processes for new and existing products. You will design processes, layouts, and tooling, and collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role emphasizes improvements in welding methods, procedure establishment, and personnel certification, with a strong focus on aerospace standards such as NADCAP and AS9100.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• 3 years of GTAW welding and resistance welding (spot or seam).
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100, and AWS certifications.
• Knowledge of process auditing techniques for quality compliance.
• Detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Provide manufacturing technical welding direction and assistance for new and existing products, including process design, facility layout, capital equipment, and tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on manufacturability and testability of new products and bring them into Manufacturing.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, including tooling and fixtures for welding.
• Establish welding procedures to guide production and welding personnel per specifications.
• Test welding personnel for certification and analyze data to drive FPY improvements.
