Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Resistance Welding Process Engineer in Mexico to lead development, qualification, and continuous improvement of resistance welding processes for new product introductions and high-volume manufacturing. You will partner with Product Design, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Suppliers, and Operations to define robust welding methods, tooling, and validation plans.

Formación

• Bachelor a required technical degree in Welding/Materials/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field
• Five+ years manufacturing experience in resistance welding or similar
• Hands-on experience in high-volume welding processes
• Experience with product industrialization, supplier management, process validation and launch
• Lean/Six Sigma techniques applied to manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated continuous improvement impact across safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize resistance welding processes (spot, projection, seam, cross-wire) for new products and high-volume manufacture
• Define robust welding methods, equipment, tooling, and validation plans
• Lead feasibility studies, weld trials, DOE, and capability evaluations to ensure robust processes
• Create process FMEAs, control plans, and standard operating settings with SPC and capability analysis
• Integrate welding equipment into manual, semi-automated and automated assembly systems
• Lead root-cause analysis of weld defects and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate equipment specifications, supplier reviews, FAT/SAT testing and transfer to operations
