Job summary

One&Only Palmilla is seeking a Bottling Plant Coordinator to oversee daily operations of the hotel’s water bottling plant. You will clean, sanitize, fill, label, store bottles, manage inventory, ensure FSMS compliance and proper product rotation.

You will work under the Safety & Hygiene Manager to maintain hygiene standards, complete daily logs, and support administrative tasks related to bottle distribution and maintenance.

About The Job

The Bottling Plant Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing the daily operations of the hotel’s water bottling plant. The position is primarily responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing, filling, labeling, and proper storage of water bottles, as well as inventory control, product distribution, and rotation.

This role requires consistently working in accordance with the hygiene and safety standards established under the hotel’s Food Safety Management System (FSMS), ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of processes.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain the bottling plant area and equipment in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
• Understand and comply with food hygiene standards for food handlers as established in the hotel’s Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
• Carry out the receiving, cleaning, and sanitizing process for bottles in accordance with established standards.
• Perform the filling, labeling, and storage processes according to established standards.
• Maintain bottle quantities within the established minimum and maximum levels according to hotel occupancy and departmental requirements.
• Safeguard all bottles under your responsibility, ensuring proper organization and cleanliness at all times and following established food hygiene and handling procedures.
• Complete the corresponding logs at the beginning and end of each day, including bottle filling and distribution records, and report any irregularities to the Safety & Hygiene Manager.
• Ensure proper product rotation by following the established bottle rotation criteria based on production month and batch, applying the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method when distributing products.
• Supply bottles according to departmental needs and maintain accurate records of product issued.
• Prepare daily stock-out reports, keeping all supporting documentation organized for review with the Safety & Hygiene Manager.
• Monitor preventive maintenance activities in coordination with the Safety & Hygiene Manager and report any equipment or facility abnormalities.
• Comply with the company’s personal grooming and presentation standards.
• Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Prepare inventory reports and perform other administrative tasks as requested by the Safety & Hygiene Manager.
