Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Apodaca, Mexico to oversee warehouse operations, lead a team handling receiving, storage and dispatch, and align activities with production schedules. You will maintain stock records, develop work instructions, and ensure efficient material flow.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering, 2+ years in similar positions, SAP and Excel proficiency, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in similar warehouse roles.

This position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, manage a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. Each day, you will establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as per production schedules and workflow. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.

• This role is contributing to the Warehouse Electrification team in Apodaca.
• Maintaining computerized administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems.
• Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations.
• Enforcing health standards, safety and security procedures.
• Communicating and interacting with internal clients.
• Ability of building teams, training employees and monitoring performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and HSE standards.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related.
• 2+ years of experience working in similar positions.
• Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in warehouse data analysis and information management, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and problem-solving tools.
• Intermediate English level.
• Demonstrated strong customer service and negotiation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership experience to drive operational success and team performance.
