Flex is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Guadalajara North to oversee distribution, receiving, warehousing and packing operations, ensuring efficiency and cost control.

You will lead a team, manage inventory, enforce policies, plan layouts, monitor security, and coordinate cycle counts to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. This on-site role supports Flex's global procurement & supply chain initiatives.

Formación

• BS degree in Administration/Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a similar metalswarehouse role.
• Knowledge of metal loading methodology (Coils & Plates).
• Fluency in English required.

Responsabilidades

• Implement a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions.
• Provide materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Comply with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Monitors volume of business and defines appropriate work schedule.
• Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
• Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.
• Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
• Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
• Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• BS degree in Administration, Engineering in electronics, mechatronics or related.
• Strong experience in a similar position in metals
• Experience in High Tonnage, Coils and Metal Security
• Experience in personnel and warehouse management
• Advanced English
• Intermediate Excel
• Knowledge of ERP (Baan)
• Management of suppliers
• Knowledge of metal loading methodology (Coils & Plates)
• Shift Availability
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Impacts the near-term (quarterly/ semi-annual) operational success of the function.
• Creates functional processes or technologies.
• Executes and provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for site.
