Flex, located in Guadalajara, Mexico, seeks an EH&S Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety across offices and manufacturing sites. The role supports SpinCo’s ramp-up with ISO14001/ISO45001 and RBA compliance, driving safety culture and regulatory excellence.

The successful candidate will design emergency plans, manage EH&S budgets, and lead audits while developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead EH&S programs across manufacturing sites and offices, ensuring cost, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage EH&S budgets, schedules and performance metrics.
• Drive compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, and RBA; lead internal and external audits as Lead Auditor.
• Oversee industrial safety and machine safety programs in high-growth manufacturing environments.
• Lead EH&S strategy for new business ramp-ups, including safety frameworks and management systems.
• Design and implement emergency response programs, drills, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Conduct safety training, awareness programs, and technical presentations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Act as strategic advisor on EH&S matters to leadership.

Job Summary Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an EH&S Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Director, EH&S the EH&S Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and execution of Environmental, Health & Safety programs across office and manufacturing environments. This role ensures full compliance with corporation, federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture.

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead the execution of EH&S programs across manufacturing sites and offices, ensuring performance in cost, efficiency, and compliance.
• Develop and manage EH&S budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Drive compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, and RBA standards; lead internal and external audits as a Certified Lead Auditor.
• Oversee industrial safety and machine safety programs in high-growth manufacturing environments.
• Lead EH&S strategy for new business ramp-ups, including implementation of management systems and safety frameworks.
• Design and execute emergency response programs, including large-scale drills, crisis management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Conduct safety training, awareness programs, and technical presentations.
• Ensure compliance in facilities, equipment, and infrastructure according to regulatory standards.
• Act as a strategic advisor to business units and leadership on EH&S matters.
• Recommend and implement policy improvements and best practices.
• Manage contractors, equipment, and resources for EH&S initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and retain a team of EH&S professionals.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Progressively responsible experience in EH&S within manufacturing environments.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO14001, ISO45001, RBA).
• Strong expertise in Industrial safety & machine safety, Regulatory compliance, Risk assessment & incident management.
• EH&S management systems implementation Experience.
• Proven experience in new plant or business ramp-up, large-scale emergency response programs, high-growth / fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Experience in industries such as electronics, telecom, or automotive (preferred).
• Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., liquid cooling) is a plus.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced English (required).
