Safran Cabin in Chihuahua, Mexico, seeks a General Manager to lead all site operations and align with Safran Cabin's objectives. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics while fostering accountability and excellence.

The role requires 10–15 years of leadership in manufacturing, strong finance and Lean expertise, and experience in regulated industries. Excellent stakeholder management and strategic planning are essential.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
  • Significant experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience with P&L responsibility and strategic planning.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and oversee all site operations, ensuring alignment with Safran Cabin's strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies to support growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.
  • Manage the site's financial performance, including budget planning, forecasting, cost control, productivity improvement, and capital investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements, customer standards, company policies, and applicable labor and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team through coaching, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, government agencies, unions, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for significant operational, quality, customer, or workforce issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, risk management practices, and business continuity plans across all functions.
  • Support business growth initiatives by identifying opportunities, improving operational capabilities.
