Job summary

ALTEN Mexico seeks a Body Design & Release Engineer to oversee the design, development, validation, timing and production release of body components and systems near Toluca and Mexico City. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and release of Vision Lighting parts, including headlamps and tail lamps.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in automotive body design, strong CATIA V5/3DX or NX skills, PLM experience (Teamcenter) and advanced English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 4+ years reviewing, validating, and releasing automotive body designs.
• Experience or advanced knowledge on automotive cameras and/or lighting is valuable.
• Experience with welding, riveting, clinching, bonding, laser brazing, or paint processes.
• CATIA V5/3DX or NX, and PLM (Teamcenter) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, validation, timing and production release of Vision Lighting components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper design and release of body systems.
• Support continuous improvement of design and release processes.
