Job summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Body Design & Release Engineer to lead the design, development, validation and release of body components and systems. You will work on Vision Lighting components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and timely releases near Toluca/Mexico City.

Requirements include 4+ years in body design release, CATIA or NX experience, and advanced English. Knowledge of cameras or lighting is valuable, with exposure to welding, bonding and various

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive body components.
• Experience with automotive cameras and/or lighting is valuable.
• Experience with materials such as Steel and Aluminium.
• Experience with welding, riveting, clinching, bonding, laser brazing, paint processes.
• CATIA V5/3DX or NX used for 3D/2D model reviews.
• PLM (Teamcenter) for documentation and release management.
• DFM principles applied to design for manufacturing.
• PBOM, eBOM, DVP&R and technical sheets management.
• Advanced English (technical comprehension) required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and release body components and systems.
• Coordinate timing and production release with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design and release processes.
• Support Vision Lighting components such as headlamps and tail lamps.
