Job summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Body Design & Release Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, timing and production release of Vision Lighting components.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate body system design and contribute to continuous release-process improvements.

Location: close to Mexico City; 1+ years experience; English: B2-C1; Full-time engineering role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 1–3 years designing/releasing automotive body components.
• Experience or knowledge of automotive cameras and lighting is valuable.
• Knowledge of body structures: metal shell, frames, floor, pillars and panels.
• Familiarity with welding, riveting, clinching, bonding and paint processes.
• CATIA V5/3DX or NX for 3D/2D review; Teamcenter for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, validation, timing and production release of Vision Lighting components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct design and release.
• Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and BOM management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
