Alstom in Mexico is seeking a VIE Robotic Engineer to join our robotics and automation team. You will support robot programming, validation, and maintenance plans across our production environment.

Fluent Spanish and English, Bac+5 in mechatronics/robotics, and interest in industrialization and automation are preferred. This role offers exposure to international projects and a dynamic, multicultural setting.

Formación

• Bac+5 in mechatronics or robotics.
• First experience in industrialization and automation is appreciated.
• Knowledge of robotic systems and automation technologies.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and validate robot programming.
• Test paths and optimize robot programs.
• Support commissioning of robotic equipment.
• Develop maintenance plans and KPIs.
• Prepare technical documentation.

Could you be the VIE Robotic Engineer in Hornell we’re looking for?

Your future role

Robot Programming & Automation:

• Support the definition and validation of robot programming
• Support the adjustment and optimization of robot programs
• Test paths and detect interferences using offline programming tools (Roboguide)
• Contribute to PLC program testing and validation

Industrialization & Operations:

• Support commissioning and qualification of robotic equipment
• Contribute to process validation and internal acceptance
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of robot maintenance plans
• Implement and monitor Automation & Robotics KPIs:
• Welding automated ratio KPIs
• Usage KPIs
• Robotics maturity KPIs (Expertise, Maintenance)

Continuous Improvement & Support:

• Contribute to operator training plans
• Assist during technology transfer and knowledge acquisition phases
• Develop technical documentation and reports
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

• Able to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
• Team spirit approach and good communication skills
• Fluent Spanish and English
• Driver’s license (appreciated)
