Alstom in Mexico is seeking an inspector to perform subassembly and finished product inspections according to defined criteria and quality standards. You will contribute to site improvement programs, document NCRs, and maintain records, while ensuring proper calibration of inspection equipment and assisting in updating procedures.

Formación

• Mandatory: 1-2 years applying NDT visual inspection.
• Knowledge of NDT VT techniques; PT, MT desirable.
• Knowledge of railway industry norms and certifications.
• Experience in Quality or audits is appreciated.
• Technical understanding of English.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope.
• Accepts or rejects products per working instructions; document NCR and inspection results.
• Maintain all controlled documents and test records timely and accurately.
• Ensure correct calibration of critical equipment used in inspections.
• Assist in writing/updating inspection procedures, protocols and checklists.
• Evaluate problems and propose initial corrective actions (RCA).
• Work with industrial teams to flag risks of missing parts due to defects.
• Record inspection results in industrial tools as required.
• Report synthesis of inspection results to Industrial Quality Managers; stop production if defect warrants rework.

Perform inspections of subassemblies or finished ALSTOM products according to well defined criteria .

• Contributes into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope.
• Accepts or Reject products as defined in the working instructions.Accurately document NCR and results of the inspections
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections.
• Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action. ( RCA)
• Works with industrial teams to alert on risks of missing parts due to defects.
• Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required.
• Reports to the Industrial Quality Managers the synthesis of inspection results, including KPIs .Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.

Mandatory: Experence 1-2 applying NDT visual inspection, Knowledge of NDT ( VT) techniques desirable PT, MT Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated, English technical understanding.
