Alstom in Mexico seeks an experienced inspector to support quality control in railway manufacturing. You will perform NDT visual inspections, document NCRs, and ensure timely records.

You will calibrate critical equipment, help update inspection procedures, and collaborate with industrial teams to address defects. English technical understanding is valued.

Formación

• Mandatory experience in NDT visual inspection and knowledge of NDT VT techniques is desirable.
• Experience with railway industry norms and certifications is preferred.
• Quality/audit experience and technical English understanding are appreciated.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope.
• Accepts or Rejects products as defined in the working instructions; documents NCR and inspection results.
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in inspections.
• Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols and checklists.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective actions (RCA).
• Collaborate with industrial teams to alert on risks of missing parts due to defects.
• Record inspection results in the industrial tools as required.
• Report synthesis of inspection results to the Industrial Quality Manager; stop production if a defect justifies rework.

Mandatory

Experence 1-2 applying NDT visual inspection, Knowledge of NDT ( VT) techniques desirable PT, MT Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated, English technical understanding.
