Job summary

Landing is seeking a detail-oriented Verifications Team Lead to oversee the member verification process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You’ll collaborate with the manager and cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in the workflow.

You will supervise the verification team, conduct background checks, provide training, and monitor KPIs to drive performance in a fast-paced, on-site Mexico City office.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (B2-C1) required.
• Office work from Polanco, Mexico City.
• Knowledge of verification procedures and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and integrity for handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the verification process for new members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Member Support, and Corporate Housing teams.
• Conduct background checks including identity, employment, and rental history verifications.
• Provide training and guidance to the verification team and ensure SOP adherence.
• Handle escalated verification issues and resolve member inquiries promptly.
• Monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the process.
• Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.
• Own escalations and ensure timely resolutions.

About the Role

Landing is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Verifications Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the team responsible for the member verification process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You'll collaborate closely with the manager and cross-functional teams to maintain high accuracy and efficiency throughout the verification workflow.

What You’ll Need

• English proficiency: Fluent (B2-C1)
• Ability to work from our Polanco office — a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of customer verification procedures, regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices (preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Member Support, and Corporate Housing.
• Conduct background checks on prospective members, including identity, employment, and rental history verification.
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to the verification team, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Handle escalated verification issues and deliver timely resolutions to member inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the verification process.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment built on teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing.
• Take full ownership of escalations and ensure timely resolution of any issues that arise.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary:
• Competitive Salary + performance incentive.
• Grocery vouchers: $1,500 MXN net per month
• Vacation: 12 days per year (available after 90 days of employment)
• Paid time off (PTO): 40 hours per year (available after 30 days of employment)
• Vacation bonus: 75%
