Albany International Corp. in Mexico seeks a senior operations leader to drive Value Stream performance from receipt to shipment. You will champion Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while leading continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, and experience with SAP. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and internal stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, supervision, or operations.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or composite materials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Value Stream operations from material receipt through shipment to the customer.
• Ensure achievement of SQDC objectives (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Kaizen.
• Optimize resources, productivity, capacity, cycle times, and changeovers.
• Monitor KPIs via Visual Management and data analytics.
• Coordinate NPI launches and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
• Resolve production issues using Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving tools.
• Ensure compliance with processes, TPM, and production controls.
• Develop and evaluate cross-functional teams, promoting training and engagement.
• Interface with customers and ensure compliance with requirements.

Lead one or more production Value Streams, ensuring the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives, driving continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Value Stream operations from material receipt through shipment to the customer.
• Ensure achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
• Lead initiatives in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize resources, productivity, capacity, cycle times, and changeovers.
• Monitor and improve performance indicators through Visual Management and KPIs.
• Coordinate new product and process launches (NPI) and ensure execution within established timelines and budgets.
• Resolve production issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and appropriate problem-solving tools.
• Ensure compliance with operational processes, documentation, TPM, and production controls.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate cross-functional teams, promoting training, cross-training, and employee engagement.
• Interface with customers as needed and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical field, preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production supervision, or a related leadership role.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and/or composite materials highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational performance, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP.
• Availability to support operational needs as required by the business.
