US Finance Lead: FP&A & Cross-Border Growth

Job summary

SDG Group, an international consulting firm in Data, Analytics and AI, seeks a hands-on US Finance Lead based in Mexico City. You will own financial controlling for the US business, partner with US leaders, and support Mexico operations.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will oversee one direct report, coordinate with external providers, and drive profitability, forecasting and performance insights across borders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance, including controlling or FP&A.
• Strong command of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with US GAAP and revenue recognition is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Own US budget, rolling forecast, and monthly performance reviews; analyze P&L, revenue, costs, margins, cash flow and variances.
• Monitor project profitability, utilization, delivery economics and key consulting KPIs; support pricing and contracts from a financial perspective.
• Partner with US leadership and Group Finance to challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors; manage month-end close, financial statements, and Group reporting.
