You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for diverse learners, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum while communicating with families and supporting student well-being.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in History or related field is required.
• Teaching qualification/certification (state license or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in History or Education is often preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver well-structured history lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach a range of historical periods, themes, and geographical areas.
• Develop students’ skills in analysis, interpretation of sources, and argumentation.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress through assignments, exams, and feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Incorporate various teaching methods including discussion, projects, and technology.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations where applicable.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary work.
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians.
