Job summary

Essity Higiene y Salud México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a cost analytics professional to act as a strategic financial partner for the site. You will lead analysis, strengthen cost control, and influence decisions that drive operational performance.

Responsibilities include owning variable cost monitoring, investigating waste and inflation impacts, tracking COGS savings, and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles with accuracy and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business or related engineering field.
• 2+ years cost analysis experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Direct ownership of variable cost monitoring and reporting.
• Follow up on materials waste and inflation variance analyses for month close.
• Track COGS savings and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
• Manage monthly warehouse closing and working capital calculations.

Monitors variations in the company’s standard costs through the recording, analysis, and development of solutions, as well as the presentation of financial information that contributes to effective decision‑making regarding new operational plans and policies.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to become a strategic financial partner for the site, leading analysis, strengthening cost control, and shaping the decisions that drive operational and business performance.

What You Will Do

• D irect ownership of variable cost monitoring.
• Follow up of Materials Waste, Inflation effect variance analysis on month closing and planning.
• COGS Savings calculation-tracking-follow up.
• M onthly warehouse closing and WC calculation-tracking-reporting.
• Provides advisory and consulting support to the plant’s administrative team on all cost and overhead expense matters.
• Support annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning cycles to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
• Attend to all audit and compliance matters, both internal and external, ensuring timely follow‑up, documentation, and full adherence to corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously analyzes variances in financial results and supports the implementation and follow‑up of actions aimed at improving financial performance.

Who You Are

• Education: Finance, business administration, or a related engineering.
• Experience: More than two years of experience in cost analysis in the manufacturing industry.
• Programs: Advanced excel, SAP AP1 (productive).
