Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing AI technology company to hire a Trust & Safety Product Manager.

You will own safety and compliance features for a consumer product with 50M+ users, balancing user safety, regulatory needs, and product impact.

This is a remote, full-time B2B contract role based in Europe, offering direct collaboration with the CTO, Legal and Safety leads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with proven ownership of decisions and results.
• Strong safety and regulatory judgement with concrete trade-off examples.
• Solid technical understanding of safety systems (thresholds, false positives, human review).
• Based in Europe.
• Comfort working with explicit adult content and reviewing disturbing or illegal reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, collaborating with engineers.
• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming.
• Make safety/regulatory trade-offs balancing user safety, compliance and product impact.
• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives, and shape human review processes.
• Collaborate with CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.
• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company with over 50 million users, where people chat, talk and create images and video with AI characters, that is seeking to onboard a Trust & Safety Product Manager to join their team.

This is a new, high-impact role to own safety and compliance on a very large consumer product. It is a product role rather than a policy or operations one. The company's products include adult content, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material.

Location: Remote

Remuneration: Competitive salary dependant on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, working directly with engineers

• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming

• Make and own safety and regulatory trade-offs, balancing user safety, compliance and product impact

• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape human review processes

• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead

• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with proven product ownership: owned decisions, delivery and results

• Strong safety and regulatory judgement, able to give concrete examples of trade-offs made and their impact

• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including thresholds, false positives and human review

• Based in Europe

• Full comfort working with explicit adult content, and willing to review disturbing or illegal reports
