Job summary

MAHLE in Monterrey, MX is offering an internship in Outbound Logistics with a focus on supporting the Freight Invoices Audit Process for MAHLE NA plants. You will collect and analyze freight spend, supplier data, and GL accounts, while coordinating with auditing partners and Purchasing teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze freight-related spend, supplier performance, and relevant general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Support the preparation and sharing of supplier, contract, and freight rate information with external auditing partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries and assist in scheduling clarification meetings when needed.
• Assist with validating freight rates, payment terms, and supplier agreements in collaboration with Purchasing teams.
• Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to analyze freight invoice details and support cost reclassification activities.
• Monitor KPIs to support the effectiveness of freight auditing processes.

Main objective is supporting implementation of a Standard Operating Procedure for Freight Invoices Audit Process to MAHLE NA plants to ensure everything is running properly and efficiently according to MAHLE audit criteria.

Data Collection & Analysis

• Analyze freight-related spend, supplier performance, and relevant general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Support the preparation and sharing of supplier, contract, and freight rate information with external auditing partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries and assist in scheduling clarification meetings when needed.

Audit & Financial Process Support

• Assist with validating freight rates, payment terms, and supplier agreements in collaboration with Purchasing teams.
• Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to analyze freight invoice details and support cost reclassification activities.

Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support the effectiveness of freight auditing processes.

Your Experience &Qualifications;
