EssilorLuxottica in Mexico seeks a Trade Compliance Supervisor to ensure full IMMEX and customs compliance in a maquiladora environment. You will oversee operations, enforce documentation accuracy, and drive risk mitigation across the organization.

The role covers Annex 24/30 inventory control, audits readiness, and coordination of compliance programs with internal teams. Strong English and deep regulatory knowledge are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Foreign Trade or Customs Compliance within IMMEX companies.
• Experience managing Annex 24 and Annex 30 systems.
• Experience supporting customs audits and regulatory compliance programs.

Responsabilidades

• IMMEX & Customs Compliance: oversee IMMEX requirements, Mexican Customs Law, and regulatory programs.
• Annex 24 / Annex 30 Administration: supervise inventory control, reconcile ERP with Annex 24 balances.
• Audit & Risk Management: lead internal reviews and support external audits, develop controls.

Your role

We are looking for a Trade Compliance Supervisowho will responsible for ensuring full compliance with Mexican Customs Regulations, IMMEX Program requirements, Annex 24 & Annex 30 controls, VAT, OEA, CTPAT Certification obligations, and import/export operational compliance within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.

This position supervises daily foreign trade compliance activities, supports customs operations team, supports internal and external audits, and ensures accurate inventory control of temporarily imported materials and fixed assets. The role also drives risk mitigation, process standardization, and continuous compliance improvement across the organization.

The role supports compliance related PROSEC, customs declarations (pedimentos), inventory reconciliation, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

IMMEX & Customs Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IMMEX Program requirements, Mexican Customs Law, Foreign Trade Regulations (RGCE), and applicable trade programs.
• Supervise import/export operations and validate customs documentation including pedimentos, invoices, COVEs, certificates of origin, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor compliance with temporary import return deadlines according to the Mexican Customs Law.
• Coordinate virtual operations, regime changes, returns, destructions, and regularization processes.
• Support VAT, OEA & CTPAT Certifications maintenance and compliance activities.

Annex 24 / Annex 30 Administration

• Supervise Annex 24 and Annex 30 inventory control processes and ensure system integrity.
• Reconcile ERP inventory against Annex 24 balances and customs records.
• Monitor temporary inventory balances, discharges, and aging reports.
• Ensure accurate control of fixed assets temporarily imported under IMMEX.
• Coordinate corrective actions and reconstruction activities when discrepancies are identified. Annex 24 requires automated inventory control systems capable of tracking temporary imports and returns.

Audit & Risk Management

• Lead internal compliance reviews and support SAT, ANAM, AGACE, and external audits.
• Maintain audit-ready foreign trade files and supporting documentation.
• Identify compliance risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance procedures, work instructions, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, International Business, Logistics, Related field
• 7+ years of experience in Foreign Trade or Customs Compliance within IMMEX companies.
• Experience managing Annex 24 and Annex 30 systems.
• Experience supporting customs audits and regulatory compliance programs.
• Experience working in manufacturing, maquiladora, automotive, electronics, or industrial environments preferred.
