EssilorLuxottica in Mexico is seeking a Trade Compliance Supervisor to ensure full IMMEX and Mexican Customs compliance across operations in a maquiladora setting. You will oversee import/export processes, audits, and documentation to maintain regulatory standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, customs administration or related field.
• 7+ years of foreign trade or customs compliance experience in IMMEX environments.
• Experience with Annex 24 and Annex 30 systems; audits and regulatory programs.

• Supervise import/export operations and validate documents (pedimentos, invoices, COVEs, origin certificates).

Your role

We are looking for aTrade Compliance Supervisowho will responsible for ensuring full compliance with Mexican Customs Regulations, IMMEX Program requirements, Annex 24 & Annex 30 controls, VAT, OEA, CTPAT Certification obligations, and import/export operational compliance within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.

This position supervises daily foreign trade compliance activities,supportscustoms operationsteam, supports internal and external audits, and ensuresaccurateinventory control of temporarily imported materials and fixed assets. The role also drives risk mitigation, process standardization, and continuous compliance improvement across the organization.

The role supports compliance related PROSEC, customs declarations (pedimentos), inventory reconciliation, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• IMMEX & Customs Compliance
• Ensure compliance with IMMEX Program requirements, Mexican Customs Law, Foreign Trade Regulations (RGCE), and applicable trade programs.
• Supervise import/export operations andvalidatecustoms documentation includingpedimentos, invoices, COVEs, certificates of origin, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor compliance with temporary import return deadlines according to the Mexican Customs Law.
• Coordinate virtual operations, regime changes, returns,destructions, and regularization processes.
• Support VAT,OEA& CTPATCertificationsmaintenance and compliance activities.
• Supervise Annex 24 and Annex 30 inventory control processes and ensure system integrity.
• Reconcile ERP inventory against Annex 24 balances and customs records.
• Monitor temporary inventory balances, discharges, and aging reports.
• Ensureaccuratecontrol of fixed assets temporarily imported under IMMEX.
• Coordinate corrective actions and reconstruction activities when discrepancies areidentified.Annex 24 requires automated inventory control systems capable of tracking temporary imports and returns.
• Lead internal compliance reviews and support SAT, ANAM, AGACE, and external audits.
• Maintain audit-ready foreign trade files and supporting documentation.
• Identifycompliance risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Develop andmaintaincompliance procedures, work instructions, and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, International Business, Logistics, Related field

7+ years of experience in Foreign Trade or Customs Compliance within IMMEX companies.

• Experience managing Annex 24 and Annex 30 systems.
• Experience supporting customs audits and regulatory compliance programs.
• Experience working in manufacturing, maquiladora, automotive, electronics, or industrial environments preferred.
