A leading company in the energy sector is seeking a skilled individual for an import/export compliance role in Mexicali. This position includes critical responsibilities such as managing cross-border documentation, ensuring adherence to regulations, and collaborating with customs brokers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, and relevant experience in U.S. trade compliance, aiming to uphold the company's standards in international operations.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This job requires wide-ranging expertise and skill-sets. The position performs a variety of duties using deployed engineering and office tools under general supervision and guidance from the Trade Compliance Manager in Mexicali. In this position you will be responsible for a variety of associate functions for the Corporate Legal department including, but not limited to: performing daily review and log of imports and border-crossing documents, support anti-dumping/countervailing duties compliance program, communicating with customs brokers, and support our internal US-Mexico-Canada qualification assessment process.
The successful candidate will have related experience with logistics, import/export compliance, and will work to ensure AE maintains the highest level of import and export compliance.
