Forvia in Querétaro is seeking a Tooling and Equipment Coordinator to drive DFMA translations into RFQs, support T&E purchasing, and ensure suppliers meet Faurecia specifications throughout design reviews.

You will work with Lean, APQP, GD&T and CAD teams, coordinating with global sites. The role requires a Bachelor in Engineering and at least 5 years in automotive manufacturing, with fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management process.
• Knowledge of Production System Efficiency (Lean Manufacturing).
• Knowledge in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Fluent in Spanish (Mandatory).
• Fluent in English (Mandatory).
• International Mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Translate the DFM&A technical specification into an RFQ.
• Support T&E Buyer with supplier selection, validation and ensure the quotation package is understood.
• Validate the technical requirements and support to ensure the supplier respects quote submission, design review, and runoff per Faurecia request.
• Ensure proper technical support during the T&E Design Review to validate design meets Faurecia specifications.
• Actively participate in the APQP process with T&E Suppliers.
• Provide approval of design review to PML and Supplier to proceed.
• Provide technical support during T&E validation and T&E Run Off at the vendors and prior to shipment.
• Support the program team to reach the quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Support the modifications defined during the setup period until Production Trial (PT).
• Provide feedback to the T&E specialist to ensure LL’s are captured and transversalized.
