Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• The Tools & Equipment Buyer (m/f) is responsible for the sourcing of the tools, fixtures, gages, equipment and packaging for the in‑house production of Faurecia Clean Mobility.
• The activities follow the framework of the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) and cover the nomination phase of new programs up to program SOP, including ECRs and series production changes.
• Member of the global T&E organisation, responsible for defining and executing the tooling and equipment procurement strategy of Faurecia Clean Mobility, enabling successful starts of production of new projects.
• Lead and follow up the program T&E sourcing list with stakeholders to ensure all tools and equipment are included until delivery, including the purchasing process.
• Prepare the sourcing strategy according to the production processes, program requirements, production footprint and regional supplier panel or global, if applicable.
• Create and manage the requests for quotations to suppliers, properly elaborated by the Tooling Coordinator/Engineer.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Master’s degree in engineering with professional experience/specialisation in international purchasing or commercial education with an additional technical background.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Buyer in an industrial environment for the automotive branch.
• Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a matrix organisation.
• International mindset; overseas experience is a plus.
• Negotiating skills and assertiveness.
• Minimum bilingual (English required).
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3 MM.
• Ability to work under organisation and follow the process.
