Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Metal Stamping in Saltillo, Mexico. You will lead tooling design and capital projects, partnering with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to optimize stamping processes and drive business growth.

You will develop cost estimates, build business cases, and implement improvements across global teams, including a focus on localization and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires travel and collaboration across North America and beyond.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical/ manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Siemens NX and MS Office suite.
• Experience in tool design, metal stamping, or related manufacturing.
• Experience building tooling/cost estimates and supporting capex justifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop tooling, equipment, and process cost estimates for new opportunities and capital investments.
• Create and maintain business cases to support tooling, equipment, automation, and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate localization strategies and investments.
• Design and support progressive stamping dies, tooling revisions, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with product engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and suppliers to assess tooling concepts.
• Support quotation activities by evaluating tooling requirements and cycle times.
• Analyze risks and prepare technical/financial presentations for leadership reviews.
• Assist with tooling launches, troubleshooting, and production improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and uptime.
