Metalsa in Monterrey, Mexico, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineering professional to lead mechanical integration of industrial equipment and production systems within automotive assembly and stamping operations. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning and production launch.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in mechanical design and strong experience with stamping press systems, GD&T, and supplier management.

Competenze

• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design, equipment build, installation and commissioning.
• At least 5 years as a Lead Mechanical Engineer or technical lead on equipment integration projects.
• Hands-on experience with automotive assembly, welding cells and stamping press systems.

Mansioni

• Lead the mechanical engineering scope of equipment integration projects from concept to production launch.
• Review and validate mechanical designs for automotive assembly and welding cells.
• Oversee external suppliers including machine builders and installation contractors.
• Ensure equipment meets specs, safety and operational requirements across the lifecycle.
