AUMOVIO is seeking a Costing Analyst in Mexico to analyze, monitor, and report product and manufacturing costs to support operational and financial decision-making. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to ensure accurate costing and cost optimization initiatives.

You will develop standard costs for finished, semi-finished, and raw materials, review BOMs and routings, and support month-end closing.

Formación

• 2 years of cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain standard costs for finished goods, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
• Analyze BOMs, labor routings, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
• Review costing structures and ensure costing accuracy within ERP.
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Investigate manufacturing variances.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Reconcile inventory balances and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Assist with inventory valuation, reserves, and cycle counts.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or other tools.

Job Description

The Costing Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting product and manufacturing costs to support operational and financial decision-making. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.

• Develop and maintain standard costs for finished goods, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
• Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), labor routings, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
• Review and validate product cost structures and ensure costing accuracy within ERP system.
• Monitor and analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Investigate manufacturing variances
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Reconcile inventory balances and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with inventory valuation, reserves, and cycle count analysis.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or other reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
