Cognizant is looking for an experienced SDET to join our Mexico team and drive UI and API automation initiatives. You will design scalable frameworks using Playwright-TypeScript and PyTest, while ensuring security validation and continuous testing across agile delivery squads.

The role demands expertise in automation, cross-browser testing, and collaboration with security, product, and development teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Formación

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience.
• Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation testing.
• TypeScript/JavaScript for automation framework development.
• Python & PyTest for test automation and framework development.
• API Automation Testing (REST/SOAP API validation mocking and integration testing).
• CI/CD and DevOps experience with Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions Git and automated pipelines.

Job Summary

We need to onboard SDET for Mexico location to support the Contact Center Contact Center transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright -TypeScript/PyTest while ensuring application quality security validation and continuous testing across agile delivery teams.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience
• Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation testing
• TypeScript/JavaScript for automation framework development
• Python & PyTest for test automation and framework development
• API Automation Testing (REST/SOAP API validation mocking and integration testing)
• Automation Framework Design using reusable and scalable architecture (POM utilities reporting CI/CD integration)
• Security & Vulnerability Analysis including identification assessment and development of automated validation scripts for security findings
• Contact Center Domain Knowledge including Agent Desktop CRM IVR Call Routing Chat and Omnichannel applications
• CI/CD and DevOps experience with Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions Git and automated pipelines
• Cross-browser and End-to-End Testing using modern automation tools
• Microservices and API-driven Architecture Testing
• Agile/Scrum Methodology with experience working in sprint-based delivery models
• Strong defect analysis troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to lead automation initiatives mentor team members and collaborate with development product and security teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
