Cognizant in Mexico is seeking an experienced SDET to onboard in the Mexico location, designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks using Playwright-TypeScript/PyTest across UI and API testing. The candidate will work with Product Owners, Developers, Security and Business Stakeholders to ensure quality and continuous delivery within agile teams.

Formación

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering and test automation.
• Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation testing.
• TypeScript/JavaScript for automation framework development.
• Python & PyTest for test automation and framework development.
• API automation testing (REST/SOAP) and integration testing.
• Design reusable, scalable automation architecture (POM, utilities).
• Security testing and vulnerability analysis with automated scripts.
• Contact Center knowledge including Agent Desktop, CRM, IVR, Omnichannel.
• CI/CD/DevOps with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git.
• Cross-browser and end-to-end testing with modern tools.
• Microservices/API-driven architecture testing.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.
• Leadership to mentor automation peers and collaborate with teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Job Summary

We need to onboard SDET @ Mexico location to support the Contact Center transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright -TypeScript/PyTest while ensuring application quality security validation and continuous testing across agile delivery teams.

The role requires strong expertise in automation architecture API testing vulnerability analysis CI/CD integration

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright -TypeScript/PyTest while ensuring application quality security validation and continuous testing across agile delivery teams.
• The role requires strong expertise in automation architecture API testing vulnerability analysis CI/CD integration and contact center application testing. The engineer will work closely with Product Owners Developers Security Teams and Business Stakeholders to build robust automation assets identify security vulnerabilities and improve release quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience
• Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation testing
• TypeScript/JavaScript for automation framework development
• Python & PyTest for test automation and framework development
• API Automation Testing (REST/SOAP API validation mocking and integration testing)
• Automation Framework Design using reusable and scalable architecture (POM utilities reporting CI/CD integration)
• Security & Vulnerability Analysis including identification assessment and development of automated validation scripts for security findings
• Contact Center Domain Knowledge including Agent Desktop CRM IVR Call Routing Chat and Omnichannel applications
• CI/CD and DevOps experience with Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions Git and automated pipelines
• Cross-browser and End-to-End Testing using modern automation tools
• Microservices and API-driven Architecture Testing
• Agile/Scrum Methodology with experience working in sprint-based delivery models
• Strong defect analysis troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to lead automation initiatives mentor team members and collaborate with development product and security teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
