Job summary

Safran Group is seeking a Test Cell specialist to support the test cell operator and inspector with technical knowledge and autonomy in related tasks. You will perform technical analyses of engine performance and participate in client audits, authorities, and troubleshooting when test results are rejected.

The role emphasizes leadership, initiative, and the development of people, with a focus on compliance and strategic thinking within the test cell environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of turbofan engines (CFM56 and LEAP) required.
• Knowledge of Mechanics, Thermodynamics and principles of Aerodynamics.
• MRO knowledge and industrial knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Technical Referent for Test Cell Workscope (Creation / Validation).
• Performance summary creation and validation.
• Monitor test cell data and log books.

Job description

Able to provide support to the test cell operator / inspector either in technical knowledge or skills, also fully autonomous in the tasks related to Test Cell.

Able to perform technical analysis of engine performance, launch troubleshooting, technical calls with clients, focal point actions with the network, participate in client audits, authorities.

Test Cell Workscope (Creation /Validation)

• Technical Referent
• Performance summary (Creation /Validation)
• Monitoring of test cell data
• Direct the “Troubleshooting” actions in case of rejection in Test Cell
• Monitoring of “Test cell log book”
• Ensure compliance actions related from internal audit programs (IGP, Spot Audits, etc.)
• Follow POs creation
• Interpretation of ARINC alerts in Test Cell
• Interpretation of Electrical Diagrams Aeronautical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
