Job summary

Molex in Guadalajara, part of the OSCO division, seeks a Test Manager to lead the Test Area and drive reliable test lines and MES integrations across shifts. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, and U.S.

teams to implement improvements, architect tester systems, and deliver robust failure analyses. Ideal candidates have strong experience in test management in manufacturing environments, advanced English, and a proven ability to implement corrective actions using statistical tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• Extensive experience in test management within manufacturing/testing environments.
• Advanced English—written and spoken with US-based teams.
• Experience with software development concepts and hardware integration.
• Experience with MES administration/integrations and applied statistical analysis (Cpk, paretos, box plots, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Own the Test Area’s operational performance and monitor KPIs daily.
• Ensure 24/7 test lines reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead cross-functional alignment on projects with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and other stakeholders.
• Architect, document, and develop tester systems and automated test solutions.
• Manage MES administration and integrations for accurate data flow and FA reporting.
• Present FA findings to internal and US engineering teams; coordinate follow-up actions.
• Apply statistical analysis to identify root causes and prioritize improvements.
• Use root-cause methodologies to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Oversee technical purchasing: quotes, orders, and deliveries for test equipment and components.
• Facilitate technical test meetings and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
