A dynamic technology company in Mexico is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex programs in the telecommunications sector. The successful candidate will have over 7 years of experience managing large-scale IT or software development projects, particularly focusing on Wireless Network Projects. Responsibilities include managing project execution from initiation through delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to established budgets. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, familiarity with Agile methods, and a relevant degree.

Formación

• 7+ years’ experience with program management and project tracking tools.
• Experience in Wireless Network Projects, DAS/LTE/5G deployments.
• Effectiveness in cross-team collaboration.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Technical Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, along with technical expertise in software development or IT infrastructure. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of technical projects, from project initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to drive project success and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Lead program including design, development, testing, and project implementation for multiple application releases, integrations, and delivery.
• Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.
• In charge of leading cross-functional teams in the end-to-end delivery of projects or programs within allotted timeline and budget, meeting established quality criteria.
• Assist with active risk management, identifying potential areas of challenge and developing/maintaining contingency plans.
• Analyze validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the project.
• Produce detailed reports and notifications as appropriate and communicate project status to respective stakeholders and project sponsor.
• Identify Risks in projects and use proven PM techniques to assess and mitigate. Facilitate project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation.
• Forecast the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and report impact to project team, sponsor and management.
• Attend and/or host management and project team meetings as required keeping the project team informed and progressing including project reviews with stakeholders as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of projects.
• Manage all phases of the technical project execution from Design through Delivery; ensuring scope, schedule and budget are adhered to.
• Develop project and resource plans, coordinate all tasks through delivery.
• Responsible for delivery, including technical requirements, internal/external project kickoff, project monitoring & control; risk, and resource management.
• Manage possible post-launch support plans (eg, post-mortem, lessons learned) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.
• Responsible for the budget and resources estimation.

What You’ll Need

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to provide project status to various levels of management both internal and externally.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills with mindset focused on risk management.
• Effectiveness in working across teams (internal & external) to define and manage work activities.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and delivery methods.
• Experience in managing all aspects of large-scale multi-discipline telecommunications projects.
• 7+ years’ experience with program management, scheduling software and other tools for tracking, reporting, and analyzing progress.
• Experience in Wireless Network Projects in mobile network provider environment and prior experience in deployment of DAS/LTE/5G networks.
• Expertise to manage multiple projects in parallel operating in various phases of execution.
• Experience to implement solutions for voice and data using existing resources and network elements.
• Degree in telecommunications, networking, electronics, computer science or similar fields. PMP or certification preferred.
• Understanding of Video Streaming and Engineering background preferred.
