HP's Technology and Innovation (TIO) Organization is seeking a Finance lead for TIO Software. The role provides financial leadership, strategic partnership, and robust analysis to support cross-functional initiatives across GBUs, PS, Print, and HPS.

You will drive complex financial analysis, improve processes, forecast results, mentor analysts, and influence business decisions to achieve strategic and financial objectives within a dynamic software environment.

Formación

• Four-year or graduate degree in business administration, economics, finance, or related discipline.
• Typically 10+ years of work experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or related field.
• CPA and CFA certifications preferred.

Job Summary

TIO Software is a dynamic organization undergoing an end-to-end transformation to become more agile, effective, and better positioned to support the evolving needs of all GBUs across the company.

This role is responsible for providing financial leadership, expertise, and strategic partnership to TIO Software business teams. The position plays a key role in cross-functional initiatives, driving process improvements, strengthening financial execution, and ensuring business decisions are supported by insightful and actionable financial analysis.

The impact of this role extends beyond TIO Software, requiring strong partnership and active collaboration with the PS, Print, and HPS GBUs. The role serves as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, influencing strategic decision-making and helping translate business priorities into effective financial outcomes.

The position will lead complex financial analysis, identify opportunities to improve business performance, and support the organization in achieving its strategic and financial objectives. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels of the organization, effectively represent the business and finance organization, and mentor and develop less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives.
• Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
• Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
• Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing strong business understanding to achieve objectives effectively.
• Leads and drives business initiatives, overseeing analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
• Forecasts financial results within a broad scope and identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development, actively engaging in their design and implementation.
• Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
• Represents the organization to external customers and clients.
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
• Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
