Scania Nederland B.V. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Cancún, Mexico. You will assist technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety and quality standards while learning the trade.

The role requires completing a high school or technical degree and about one year in a similar position, with knowledge of Scania products and relevant DOS/DCS/SRS/SHE standards preferred. You will support tool and parts checks and participate in process improvements.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services.
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Ensure correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the work is finished to maintain workflow.
• Implement improvement proposals.

Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks, while learning the profession and developing skills to achieve more complex maintenance and repairs, complying with all safety standards in the workshop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished.
• Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals

TASKS

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

EDUCATION

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
