Scania México in Aguascalientes is seeking an apprentice technician to learn preventive maintenance and perform routine tasks under safety standards in the workshop. You will support technicians, prepare vehicles, and learn to apply Scania repair methods while developing skills for more complex work.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline engines, tooling checks, and adherence to DOS, DCS, SRS, and SHE standards. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanic abilities.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services.
• Familiar with DOS, DCS, SRS and SHE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished.
• Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals

Responsibilities

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.

TASKS

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Finalize stamping.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Finalize work order.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Communicate deviations.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

EDUCATION

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.

JOB PROFILE

• One year in a similar position.
