Scania México in Guadalajara seeks a Technician Maintenance Diesel for the Sucursal Guadalajara. You will support vehicle maintenance and repairs, learn the trade, and ensure safety standards in the workshop.

Requirements include one year in a similar role, diesel/gasoline mechanics skills, and knowledge of Scania products and DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards. The role involves following procedures, managing tools and parts, and communicating with the workshop manager.

Job Description

Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks, while learning the profession and developing skills to achieve more complex maintenance and repairs, complying with all safety standards in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished.

TASKS

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Finalize stamping.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Finalize work order.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Communicate deviations.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

EDUCATION

High school, preparatory or technical degree completed
