Tetra Pak invites applications for the Technical Sales Engineering Intern position based in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico. The program offers hands-on experience through meaningful projects contributing to our global mission of safe, available food and sustainable packaging.

You will gain mentorship, structured onboarding, and exposure to cross-functional teams while developing practical skills in quotes, component sizing, and customer-focused solutions during the 2027 internship program.

Formación

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechanical, Food, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related.
  • Desirable: Power BI and SAP; Excel (intermediate)

Responsabilidades

  • Support the quoting process by selecting and sizing valves, pumps, tank equipment, instruments, and other plant components; ensuring appropriate components for each application.
  • Collaborate with other service categories to create bundle offers.
  • Create quote-based sales orders, generate part numbers for custom items, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers in terms of documentation, application, maintenance, troubleshooting and other technical aspects of components in the plant's portfolio.

Internship Program 2027

As part of the Tetra Pak Internship Program, you'll gain hands‑on experience through meaningful projects that contribute to our purpose of making food safe and available, everywhere. The position will be based in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What You Will Do

As a Processing Services Solutions Intern, you will:

  • Support the quoting process by selecting and sizing valves, pumps, tank equipment, instruments, and other plant components; ensuring the appropriate components proposed for each application;
  • Collaborate with other service categories to create bundle offers;
  • Create quote‑based sales orders, generate part numbers for custom items, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time and complete deliveries are met, resolving potential issues by evaluating available alternatives and choosing the best one;
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers in terms of documentation, application, maintenance, troubleshooting and other technical aspects of components included in the plant's component portfolio;
  • Our work is highly dynamic and customer‑centric. Team members must be proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. We value clear communication, problem‑solving, and a consultative approach to customer interactions;
We believe you have
  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechanical, Food, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or any other related.
  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate); Power BI and SAP is desirable; English Advanced – Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Availability for internship: January, 2027 to December, 2027.
  • Graduation expected: December 2027 or afterwards.
  • Availability to work and commute to our site 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, during the full internship program.
  • You are available for an internship from January 18 to December 13, 2027.;
