Belcan seeks a Technical Project Manager for a one-year PDE contract in Querétaro, Mexico. The role focuses on overseeing and coordinating the technical execution of complex aerospace projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and meeting customer requirements.

Responsibilities include planning, resource allocation, risk management, and cross-functional leadership with engineers and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in aerospace or turbomachinery.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to aerospace or turbomachinery.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools, MBD, digital assembly and drawing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Description: A Technical Project Manager in PDE role in Querétaro México, is currently available. This is a one year contract position with one of our key aerospace clients. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of complex projects within the organization. Your primary focus will be on managing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and meeting customer requirements. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are achieved within the allocated budget and timeframe.

Job Duties

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Supports and/or lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Supports coordination and allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
• Monitor projects progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively take corrective actions to ensure successful execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Prior experience in Aerospace or Turbomachinery
• Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in the aerospace or turbomachinery industry of 5+ years.
• knowledge of aerospace technologies, systems, and processes.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage project stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to the aerospace or turbomachinery industry.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools, MBD, Digital assembly and drawing processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Desired Tool Experience: Excel, PM Tools, MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence, Oracle
• Bilingual: Spanish / English

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• GE, Safran or other Aerospace industry relevant experience
• Advanced degree
