Belcan Corporation in Querétaro, México, is seeking an Aerospace Lead Design Engineer. The role focuses on translating requirements into robust mechanical designs for aircraft engine components, leading multiple projects, and collaborating with design, stress, materials, manufacturing, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of aerospace design/analysis experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Five+ years of engineering experience in aerospace/mechanical products.
• Strong fundamentals: statics, materials, fatigue, thermal, joints, fits and tolerances.
• Proficiency in GD&T, drawings, tolerances, and dimensional requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evaluate mechanical designs for aircraft engine components and systems.
• Support the complete product development lifecycle from requirements to maturity.
• Consider structural integrity, functionality, durability, weight, producibility, cost, and schedule.
• Perform mechanical analyses including static strength, stiffness, thermal effects, fatigue and tolerances.
• Evaluate interfaces, joints, and assembly conditions; review dimensions and tolerances.
• Lead RCA and engineering investigations; support manufacturing and suppliers.
