A leading engineering firm in Queretaro, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer (PSE) to provide technical expertise for aircraft engine hardware. The successful candidate will develop technical documentation, lead Root Cause Analysis, and manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. Formación

Senior Product Support Engineer (PSE) @ Belcan

A Senior Product Support Engineer (PSE) role is currently available at Belcan in Queretaro, Mexico. This is a full-time position with benefits. As a Senior PSE, you will serve as a technical expert for aircraft engine hardware and systems, providing critical support to customers including airlines, repair shops, and manufacturers. You will ensure the accuracy of technical documentation, resolve complex engineering issues, and drive compliance with aerospace standards, all while collaborating with stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop technical substantiation for engine hardware through engineering analyses (e.g., stress, thermal, fatigue) to validate performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Plan, execute, and document RCA process to identify the underlying causes of mechanical system failures, equipment malfunction or performance issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Resolve aerospace departure record inquiries by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage Product Change Requests (PCRs), documenting and executing design or process modifications.
  • Prepare and deliver clear technical communications, including Engine Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Service Bulletins, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate complex technical data effectively to internal teams, external customers, and regulatory bodies through reports and presentations.
  • Track project progress, report key developments, and address challenges to meet quality and schedule requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and team growth.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or product support roles.
  • Proven expertise in aerospace engine systems analysis and compliance with industry standards (FAA, EASA).
  • Proven track record of leading and guiding RCA using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), with demonstrated success in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes for aerospace systems.
  • Knowledge in Stress, GD&T, Basic stack ups and Manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to varying project demands.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GE Aerospace commercial engines.
  • Tools: Teamcenter, TcVis Mockup.
